Our history


2018

The company changes its name from Nordic Leisure AB to Enlabs AB in November 2018. During the year Solutions is launched, a new business area that develops and delivers technical solutions to other companies (B2B). In October, the company's Optibet brand is launched in the Lithuanian market, and during the third quarter a number of media assets is acquired that for example will give Enlabs a presence on the Latin American market.

During the year, significant changes within the management team are implemented in order to make a cultural change from a company focused on technology to put the end customer in the first place.

2017

The Group's operations are divided into two business areas, Online Games and Media. During the second quarter of the year, two leading casino affiliation companies are acquired; Kama Net and Future Lead Generation, which are accessed during July. In September, the Lithuanian game operator Baltic Bet is acquired. After the acquisition, Nordic Leisure has licensed operators in all three Baltic countries, and holds about 180 employees.

2016

Operations in Betting Promotion och Tain are sold in July 2016. Nordic Leisure Group now has 110 employees.

NLAB conveyed their Food & Beverage operations to an external operator in September. This conveyance is part of our strategy to concentrate fully on the group's iGaming activities.

Malta based BestBet Group is acquired in November, providing NLAB a strong base on Malta, an attractive brand portfolio, a gaming license in the UK, and expanding our product assortment into Poker and Bingo.

Our senior management experiences significant changes, and after the BestBet transaction, NLAB has some 110 employees.

2015

We made a public bid on Betting Promotion Sweden AB, with its subsidiary group Tain Gaming. NLAB acquired nearly 95% of the companies operating in the B2B segment. This deal raises the number of employees to nearly 220.

2014

We concluded the sale of Redbet Gaming. We obtained our license in Estonia and initiated operations. By year-end, we had approximately 130 employees in the group.

2013

Nordic Leisure AB agrees to sell Redbet Gaming Ltd, disposing our original operations. Company offices were moved from Stockholm to Sigtuna, Sweden, and all gaming operations were incorporated into our Lifland Gaming AB subsidiary. Through Lifland Gaming we operate two brands – Optibet and GoldClubCasino – in wholly-owned operations and with offices in Tallinn, Riga and Malta. In fall 2013, Lifland had approximately 120 employees. The group board of directors adopted a strategy for broadening the company lines of business.

2012

Redbet Holding AB changes corporate name to Nordic Leisure AB in September 2012. Redbet Gaming Ltd adds to its portfolio of casino gaming, and SIA Optibet launched casino games on Optibet.lv.

2011

Redbet Gaming Ltd acquires three gaming operations – i4Poker, DoubleCardrooms and Heypoker. Optibet opens their twentieth betting shop in Latvia.

2010

Live betting via Redbet.com and Optibet.lv is introduced for the FIFA World Cup in June. Redbet operations in England is disposed.

2009

Live casino is launched and Redbet restructures their poker operations to match general market trends, and initiated disposal of their B2B operations. Gaming licenses obtained from the Lotteries and Gaming Authority of Malta. Redbet.com and Whitebet.com operations are transferred from England to Malta.

2008

The Malta based group companies Redbet Malta (Hldg) Ltd and Redbet Gaming Ltd are formed and initiate the licensing application process on Malta. SIA Optibet introduces online gaming at Optibet.lv.

2007

Redbet Holding AB acquires the gaming business SIA Teletoto (later name-changed to SIA Optibet) operating through betting shops in Latvia under the Optibet brand. Additionally, Pullman Gaming NV is acquired, which owns and operates the Gold Club Casino, Gold Club Games and TotalPoker brands.

2006

Redbet Holding AB acquires all shares in Redbet Ltd, and the Redbet Holding AB share is listed on First North. Redbet initiates a new phase through their proprietary betting exchange is sold to other gaming operators.

2005

Redbet Holding AB is registered at the Bolagsverket – the Swedish Companies Registration Office. Redbet Holding AB acquires Redbet Technology AB. Operations are broadened to include casino games and poker at Redbet.com.

2004

Redbet.com is launched enabling betting through a betting exchange.

2003

The betting exchange system is used and tested.

2002

Redbet Ltd is founded in England, initiates development of a betting exchange. This investment is backed by several Swedish entrepreneurs and software programmers with experience in the gaming industry.
